All maps are paleogeographic reconstructions of the Australian Northwest Shelf at 156.0Ma (Pre-breakup configuration), 151 Ma (chron M24), 136 Ma, and 130 Ma. Australia is held fixed in present day coordinates. Shown are present day continental outlines. For a detailed description please refer to Chapter 3.2 of my thesis.

Abbreviations used: MBT = Main Boundary Thrust, CT = Carnarvon Terrace, ExP = Exmouth Plateau, ScP = Scott Plateau, WB = West Burma Block, SikNat = Sikuleh - Natal Blocks, BE = Banda Embayment, BH = Bird's Head region of Irian Jaya, SDRS = Seaward dipping reflectors.
