The Agri-Food Research Network

The Agri-Food Research Network was established in 1992 to provide a forum for Australian and New Zealand researchers analysing contemporary agri-food systems.  Its aim is to facilitate and maintain the exchange of information, to encourage collaborative research, and to organise conferences and meetings.

Conferences and publications

Since 1992 the Network has convened annual conferences for the presentation of current research. Several publications are available that contain research papers presented at Agri-Food Research Network conferences. For information, click here.

International Journal of Sociology of Agriculture and Food, the official journal of the International Sociological Association Research Committee on Agriculture and Food, is currently edited and published by Agri-Food Research Network members. Click here for the Journal's website.

In recent years Network members have published a number of books on agricultural and food issues. Click here for details.
