Craig O'Neill's CV



Craig O'Neill is a Research associate in geophysics and planetary science at the University of Sydney.  His background is in numerical modeling and Archean geodynamics.    Current research interests include modeling the Archean thermal and tectonic regime, diamond stability, Australian heat flow, Australian impact structures and looking at how hotspots move relative to each other (the myth of the hotspot reference frame). Craig completed his BSc (Adv) in 2000, and has recently submitted his PhD.

When I'm not sitting in front of a computer suffering irreparable back damage from poor posture, my recreational activities range from judo (see :Sydney Uni Judo Club), fencing, and bass playing to crocodile wrestling.
 
 

In reality, however, most of the after hours are spent enduring unending train trips, drinking far too much beer and staying up late to watch Buffy the vampire slayer.
