ENVI5809: Environmental Simulation Modelling

Credit points: 6
Teacher/Coordinator: Dr Kevin Davies
Session: Semester 2
Classes: Six workshops
Assessment: Report (100%)
Campus: Camperdown/Darlington
Delivery Mode: Normal (lecture/lab/tutorial) Day

This unit of study introduces participants to the power of simulation modelling in understanding and predicting behaviour of natural systems. The unit of study covers fundamental concepts, logic, and techniques (including sensitivity analysis), and develops skills in application to environmental problems. Applications studied include catchment management, fisheries management, and marine and terrestrial population dynamics.
